Getting Started is Easy
What is Surrogacy?
Surrogacy is a method of third-party assisted reproduction whereby intended parents work with a gestational carrier to give birth to their genetic baby. Is often used by women who have medical issues such as the lack of a uterus or other medical indications that might make carrying a baby to term difficult or impossible.
Is the amazing gift of a woman carrying a baby on behalf of another person or couple. A surrogate is often also called a gestational carrier.
It’s also used by single males or same-sex couples as a means of procreation. We do not discriminate and are very happy to assist all family types in their family-building journey.
Surrogates in Colombia must have at least 1 child of their own, undertake background and psychological screening, have medical screening both before, during, and after the pregnancy, and must have clear informed consents in place.
In Colombia, only gestational surrogacy is undertaken whereby the surrogate mother has no genetic relationship with the child. The price of surrogacy in Colombia is lower than in the United States. Contact us now to start your surrogacy journey.
Medical processes and prices at clinics in Colombia are more affordable than in many parts of the world.
The surrogacy process involves a number of legal and medical steps. In addition to the medical, psychological, and background screening of both the intended parent(s) and the surrogate mother, there are defined informed consents and contracts that must be entered into to clearly establish the intent and legal relationship between the surrogate mother and the intended parent(s).
Our Fertility Clinics
Our fertility clinics are modern, state-of-the-art centers for assisted reproduction.
In addition to services such as in-vitro fertilization, egg donation, and sperm donation, they can offer the very latest advancements in genetics to offer patients the most peace of mind. We offer pre-implantation genetic screening (PGS) with Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) for 24 chromosome testing.
This is a method of ensuring there are no chromosomal problems like Down’s Syndrome with any of the embryos before they are implanted. We also have the latest genetic carrier screening for our egg donors to screen for life-threatening genetic conditions such as cystic fibrosis, fragile x, and spinal muscular atrophy.
Non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT) during the first trimester of pregnancy to screen for chromosomal problems with the fetus is one more cutting-edge treatment protocol we offer for prenatal testing.
Our fertility centers have Spanish and English speaking staff that are looking forward to assisting you with your fertility needs, from first contact, to your visit to Bogotá, to the birth of your baby. Contact us now to learn more about the services we offer.
How Does Egg Donation works?
Egg donation is a method of assisted reproduction whereby the oocytes (eggs) of a third-party female are used to procreate. Eggs are used with the sperm of the intended parent(s) to create embryos for implantation.
Egg donation is typically used when there is a medical indication such as low ovarian reserve, when a genetic disease may be passed onto a baby, or for single males or same-sex couples.
Our egg donors are exceptional young women between the ages of 20 and 29 years of age, the very best age to produce a healthy pregnancy. Contact us to learn more.
